Here is some examples of projects or companies I've worked for. This is a non-exhaustive list. Indeed I didn't felt the need to mention certain works.
I mainly worked on PC and NDS but can easily adapt on other platforms, embedded, Mac or such (I already did).
I now cumulate approximatively 10 years of professional experience in the industry either as a salaried or freelance developer (in such case my rate is about 300€ a day).

ALLEGORITHMIC - Senior Programmer ALLEGORITHMIC is a company based at Clermont Ferrand in France and that is focused on developing a middleware able to generate procedural texture with the lighting possible code. For instance, it costs approximatively 2KB to generate a texture of 2048x2048. My job was to optimize code and integrate the API into 3D software like 3DS Max. |

OZOS Game Engine - Founder OZOS is a free source game engine taking in charge all aspects of a real time application. The kernel of OZOS is static and every aspects that relate to gameplay, low level (like the renderer) are pluggable. That is, you can use OZOS with an Open GL driver or DirectX, plug your own gameplay system, etc. Remind that all aspect of OZOS are designed for simplicity without imposing any hard restriction. Everything has been coded by my only person and like you can notice, OZOS really takes in charge everything, even sound engine. If you feel interested you may get in touch with me. |
DarkSkyne - Senior Programmer Worked on a 3D game engine based on D3DX for a game prototype called "DK Project" for PC and XBOX 360. The engine I used was approved by NVIDIA and their label "NVIDIA: The way it's meant to be played". My own game engine OZOS was also used to preview 3D scene made under XSI. Big Heads Family - Co-Founder and Lead Programmer In charge of recruitment and creation of the video game studio at Lille in France (13 people). Officially selected by the e-Magiciens (an organization that helps young startup). I made all the production pipeline for 2D and 3D on NDS and development framework. Team management and technical responsibilities. After leaving, the studio has changed with some new members and was renamed ZigZag Island. |

OZCollide - Founder OZCollide is a fast, complete and free collision detection library. It provides a very ease of use C++ API especially focused on performance and functionalities for real time applications such as video games. OZCollide doesn't just provide yes/no collision queries between standard primitives. It is a full, functional, performant, stable and cross-platform library to be used instantly into your pipeline production providing tons of collision methods up to the object serialization itself. OZCollide is based on AABB tree implementation. |
DK Games - Main Programmer At DK Games, I was the main programmer in charge of porting on NDS the game "Mes Galops 3D" published by Gost Publishing and edited by Mindscape on PC. I participated to write the technical design and validated the assets (specific to the NDS). Reuse of the code and data at maximum to minimize the time of development and so of cost. In charge of developing all the 2D and 3D part of the game. |
Mekensleep - Senior 3D Programmer Senior 3D Programmer on a poker game "Pok3d" cross-platform (Windows, Linux, Mac). Pok3d was one of the first poker game fully in 3D were you can customize your avatar, play online with real money, chatting with others people, etc. Development of OpenGL shaders, radical optimization of the code and the pipeline by writing scripts and tools. Participation on ColladaMax. The entire code is freely available under the GPL license. |

STAR ANCESTOR - Game Designer and Lead Programmer Star Ancestor is the fruit of more than 2 years of very hard working. It is a kind of Halo like with massive use of complex 3D scene where the player takes place and has to achieve a certain number of missions. Star Ancestor is powered by OZOS game engine for PC and XBOX 360 and was officially selected by Newtek to show the capabilities of Lightwave in the making of a video game. It was also selected at the MILIA festival in Cannes, France.

GAudio - Founder Founder of a sound system library for Windows. GAudio is a middleware licensed about twenty clients and used by tons of independent developers. It's used into several commercial games and some mega hits like Cossacks. For a given CPU, GAudio is so far the fastest audio library available even exceeding others like FMOD or BASS. For instance it costs 1% of CPU time (yes you read it: 1%) to replay a OggVorbis at 192 kbps, 44.1 khz, stereo on a modern CPU and 2% for the equivalent in MP3. 128 uncompressed PCM sounds can be mixed together without exceeding 3% of CPU time still in 44.1 khz, stereo.
